We start this trip at the majestic waterfall of La Tomato, located in central Veracruz a state that borders the Gulf of Mexico. This is a tropical paradise of mango, banana, and citrus plantations. We then move to El Encanto waterfall which will be our first adventure on this trip. To reach this secluded waterfall we will a narrow tropical canyon. Our first day of rafting starts at El Descabezadero waterfall, the birthplace of the Actopan River. The Actopan is a crystal clear river (class III) and a great start to our rafting adventure in Mexico. Next up we will rappel an 85 meter cliff alongside the Texolo waterfalls. From there we visit the magical towns of Cotatapec and Xico, famous for their coffee and mole.     We are back on the river running the Antigua section (class III) of the Pescados river which has continuous white water. Then we will be gliding through the tops of the mango trees on the zip line. To relax from the first part of our trip we will be visiting a Ternazcal a ceremonial vapour healing site. Back on the river we will be running the upper section of the Pescados River (class IV). This will be our most challenging section with non-stop excitement. Back on dry land our adventure turns into a scenic trek through La Gotera Canyon. Our final day in Veracruz will take us to the Pozas Azules our last waterfall.      The next two days of this trip will take place in Mexico City area, where we will admire and climb the monumental ruins of Teotihuacan, the city of the gods. We will then visit the colonial park of Coyoacan and walk through its beautiful streets and alleys. To end our adventure we will spend a whole day touring through the historic center of Mexico City.
